BARNCATS “R” US
BARNCATS “R” US specializes in the placement of “working” feral and un-socialized cats. They also have a shelter/sanctuary for feral cats that can’t be re-homed in working placement for a variety of reasons.

Purrfect Pals
Purrfect Pals is a sanctuary for cats, working to end cat homelessness since 1988. They also help with adoptions; they work with FIV / FeLIV* cats. This is a great website for resources, videos, links to other sites related to cats and cat issues. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff people, even on the phone!

* Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) are contagious, untreatable diseases in cats. Cats that go outside are at increased risk for exposure to FeLV and FIV. Testing for FeLV and FIV is often performed at the same time since clinical signs can be similar.

South County Cats
South County Cats is a good resource for help with TNR*, the Feral Cat Project, fostering kittens and adoptions, working with feral cats and community outreach to decrease the number of feral and under socialized cats that are abandoned in South King County areas.

* TNR involves humanely trapping feral cats living in cities, towns and rural areas and transporting them to a veterinary clinic where they are spayed or neutered. They may also receive a health check, vaccinations, and can be treated for routine medical conditions

Kuranda Cat Towers
Kuranda cat towers (and dog beds) are super easy to put together and keep clean. Kuranda is a great company and offers excellent customer service! We use their towers in our cat suites and in the office.
